1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RCM Denials platform ("we," "our," or "us") at rcmdenials.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately discontinue using our services.

2. Description of Service

RCM Denials is a local-first web application providing AI-powered Revenue Cycle Management support for healthcare AR calling workflows. Key features include denial checklists, timely filing calculators, decision trees, payer directories with IVR shortcuts, and call summaries. The platform acts as a guidance assistant and co-pilot during payer calls.

3. Healthcare Compliance & HIPAA

As a healthcare professional or billing specialist, you are solely responsible for compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and other applicable regulations:

  • No PHI: You must not enter Protected Health Information (PHI), such as real patient names, Social Security Numbers, home addresses, or full financial accounts, into this tool.
  • Acceptable Data: Only use claim numbers, payer names, generic denial codes, and general call notes that do not compromise patient anonymity.

4. Disclaimers of Warranties

RCM Denials is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind:

  • Information Accuracy: Payer directories, telephone numbers, IVR navigation steps, and timely filing policies change frequently. We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any information provided by the platform.
  • Workflow Support Only: This tool is a decision-support guide. You are responsible for verifying payer requirements, submitting claims, and meeting all timely filing deadlines.
  • No Financial Guarantee: We are not responsible or liable for claim denials, missed timely filing windows, appeals rejections, or financial losses incurred while using this platform.

5. Local Data Storage & Loss

All user data (checklists, batch claims, notes) is stored locally in your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB. Since we do not transmit or backup this data on our servers, clearing browser caches, private browsing sessions, or resetting the browser will permanently delete this information. We are not responsible for any local data loss.
